Well said Paul!
We are indeed all on the same page - and I have no doubt that any efforts to increase digital inclusion (through mentoring, training, myth-busting etc) all go towards the greater good.
Best wishes

All bids were scored against a weighted set of criteria, I sure I will echo the other unsuccessful bidders in saying that we all felt we had met the necessary requirements of this scoring system.
We have a network of local infrastructure organisations which reach out into communities, UKOnline Centres are out on the ground already making a difference and training individuals. I am sure these existing networks can support the Digital Mentor activity that will take place so people feel included in their communities, have a louder voice and are fully included digital citizens.
Whilst it is disappointing not to have been selected - the aim is to increase digital inclusion and I wish the Media Trust well in this.
Thanks

Is their application publicly available?
Echo Michael's sentiments - would be interesting to hear what the rationale was behind the decision....
