Mike
Thanks for this. Just a quick point that I am wary of using the word
private in connection with this list as the archives are publicly
available on the web!
In terms of bringing together discussion, I am regularly extracting
stuff from the list and will be writing up summaries for the wki and
blog to ensure everyone knows what's happening. Likewise, as I am sure
you have noticed, I am pointing email subscribers to what is happening
on the web.
If you find the list is getting a bit noisy, feel free to concentrate
on the web based bits, or maybe subscribe to the digest of the emails?
I appreciate that sometimes the discussion goes off at a bit of a
tangent, but I guess that is just the nature of open platforms! As
long as we have a record of the more constructive stuff, then I am
fine with it personally!
If anybody fancies taking on some wiki pages to watch over and
'garden' or post thoughts and summaries to the blog, please do so. The
wiki is free to edit, obviously, and just ask for a login to the blog,
as Michael did recently. This isn't just my project, it's everyone's!
Cheers
Dave
