Hi Dave
Congrats on all thew work to date
The WTF-ers are great and I also love that video from Dave of the three
amigos at CLG. I was really sorry I was too ill to come to the CLG, if only
to meet people like yourself [I remember when I was a young scamp]
I've just posted something on the Voice-box blog which belongs here as well.
any thoughts?
Mark
hello Ben/Helen
Given the flurry of bidding-related emails going around I've only just got
round to reading this and feel embarrassed that SCIP's name hasn't appeared
on what is a great roster of projects and contacts.
Aside from the work on the bid my priority would be that someone take the
opportunity to create a network for people working in projects such as these
- plus the many more I'm sure are out there.
Like many of those listed SCIP has been beavering away in our local
community for many years. Once or twice I've been involved in trying to
create a network - most notably UK Communities Online with David Wilcox and
others in the late 90s - but I have limited time [and appetite] to support
the work needed at a national level to help create and manage such a
network.
Perhaps we can find a way of converting the current interest in the stuff
I/we do every day into some kind of new network?
Any thoughts?
Mark
