Dear Stakeholder
As you may know, the Secretary of State for Wales and Minister for Digital Inclusion, Rt Hon Paul Murphy MP launched the Government's new initiative 'Driving Digital Inclusion - An Action Plan for Consultation' on 24 October 2008. We are seeking the views of stakeholders on the Plan and would therefore like to invite you to one of two special events being held at central locations in London on Thursday 4 December, and in Birmingham on Friday 12 December. Paul Murphy and Wayne David MP (Under Secretary of State for Wales and Deputy Minister for Digital Inclusion) will be speaking at these events.
Lunch will also be provided for delegates.
During the event we will be asking you about what Government should be doing to drive this agenda forward, and your thoughts on the role of the Digital Champion.
Programmes for the events are attached for your information and, as spaces are limited, we would request that you email us at digital.inclusion at communities.gov.uk, indicating your choice of venue as soon as possible. If you have accessibility needs or special dietary requirements please include this information in your response.
If you are unable to attend but would still like to contribute to the consultation process we invite you to visit the 'digital inclusion' section of the Communities website, where you will find a downloadable version of the consultation paper and instructions on how to provide a response.

If you wish to receive a paper copy of the consultation document please email us at the address given above. Alternatively you may wish to contribute by engaging in the discussion taking place in the Digital Inclusion online forum which can be found at the following address:
http://haveyoursay.communities.gov.uk/forums/79/ShowForum.aspx
We look forward to seeing you at one of our stakeholder events.
