[Digital-Mentor] ITT and other bits

Slef, I wasn't actually aiming my comment at you at all, but generally
expressing a sadness that that is what invariably happens. Be reasonable ;-)
To be fair on CLG I suspect that if they were asked for expenses by a parish
council they would consider it, but I do agree: if they want involvement
then everyone interested should be able to attend without expense. I also
wish the workshop had been scheduled much earlier, and that a 'new post'
button had been available on their forum right from the start, as none of
this has helped convey an appearance of openness. I agree entirely about the
problems with CLG's forum, and I too have expressed concern. I flagged it up
really just to remind this list that discussion is also happening there.

I don't run the digital mentor blog but I'm sure that Dave Briggs will look
at your suggestions. I suspect it's an out-of-the-box Wordpress theme, in
which case fixing the CSS may be as simple changing the theme. I agree about
the phone issue: I think there's a mobile plugin for WordPress that might
help here (Dave?).

I'm also keen that we follow Clare's suggestion of re-wording the intro to
make it more descriptive and welcoming.

As for hashtags, I'm aware that both #digitalmentor and #digitalmentors are
currently being used for this discussion.

Best wishes,

Michael
