Thanks to Michel for posting to the blog recently, and for letting
everyone know that Citizen's Foundation is interested in being
involved. Personally I think you are right that a budget of the size
we are talking (£900k) needs a well established organisation to be
involved.
Of interest I think in that regard is the invitation from Helen Milner
on our blog to collaborate with UK Online Centres -
http://digitalmentor.org/2008/11/collaborate-with-uk-online-centres/ -
having met with Helen this week, it sounds to me like they have the
necessary scale to manage the project, however they need to tap into
the expertise of our community here, and beyond when it comes to
social media and online community work.
If anyone has any ideas on how this might work, do share them with the group.
